How led enterprises can develop and design LED displays that will not produce light pollution and waste electric energy has become an important product performance that manufacturers must solve.
LED display has been widely used in every street corner of the city and has become a unique symbol to enhance the city image. However, while beautifying the city image, the strong light of the screen also has a certain negative impact on the night life of urban residents. Although the LED industry is a “light making” industry, and there is nothing wrong with the “light production” of the display screen, judging from the environmental pollution indicators of the city, it has become a new type of pollution, “light pollution”. Therefore, as an enterprise, we should pay attention to the problem of “light pollution” in production and control the setting of brightness.
The first control method: adopt an adjustment system that can automatically adjust the brightness.
According to the day and night, a slight change in the brightness of the display screen will have a great effect in different places, environments and time periods. If the playing brightness of the LED display is greater than 50% of the ambient brightness, we will obviously feel eye discomfort, which also causes “light pollution”.
Then we can collect the ambient brightness at any time through the outdoor brightness collection system, and use the display screen control system to broadcast the picture by receiving the system data and automatically converting it into the brightness suitable for the environment through software.
The second control method: multi-level gray correction technology.
Ordinary LED display systems use 18bit color display levels, so that at some low gray levels and color transitions, the color will be displayed very stiff, which will cause color light maladaptation. The new LED large screen control system uses a 14bit color display layer, which greatly improves the hardness of colors in excess, makes people feel soft colors when watching, and avoids people’s discomfort with light.
In terms of power consumption, although the light-emitting materials used by LED displays themselves are energy-saving, some of them need to be applied to occasions with large display areas. Because they are used for a long time, the overall power consumption is still large, because the brightness required by them will be relatively high. Under the effect of these comprehensive factors, the power consumption of the display screen is quite amazing, and the electricity cost borne by advertising owners will also increase geometrically. Therefore, enterprises can save energy through the following five points:
(1) By using high light efficiency LED, the light-emitting chip does not cut corners;
(2) High efficiency switching power supply is adopted, which greatly improves the power conversion efficiency;
(3) Excellent screen heat dissipation design to reduce fan power consumption;
(4) Design scientific overall circuit scheme to reduce power consumption of internal lines;
(5) Automatically adjust the brightness of the outdoor display screen according to the change of the external environment, so as to achieve the effect of energy conservation and emission reduction;
