LED Wall: what is it and how does it work?
A LED Wall is an LED screen of various sizes made up of a series of square or rectangular LED modules which, assembled and placed side by side, make up a single large uniform surface on which images, transmitted by a computer and processed by a control unit, are shown.
The main advantage of a Led video Wall is certainly its very high visual impact able to draw somebody’s attention also at a considerable distance from its location: most likely it is the most effective visual communication system in the world of Marketing.
Another advantage is represented by the possibility to use a LED wall for a special event thanks to a temporary installation: some models of LED modules are in fact specifically designed to make transport, assembly and disassembly of the giant screen quick and simplified.
LED walls are mainly used in the advertising industry (fixed installations in places like public areas, airports, railway stations or on the roofs of buildings), or with informative goals for drivers along the most important arterial roads but also during concerts and music Festivals, or to broadcast important Sport events in open-air places. Furthermore, it’s more and more common the purchase of large LED screens by trendy clubs or by multiplex cinemas. Large screens are also popular in stadiums, arenas, swimming pools and sports facilities, mainly to display the score or times of a competition.
LED walls can be fixed (mounted on a wall or on a pole) or, as mentioned above, temporary for special events. The models sold by Euro Display are available in various resolutions (pitch) and for various uses: outdoor, indoor or for the rental industry (temporary installations).
